On you M1 it should be fine I think, since it has much better performance than my Mac (and hasn’t been as used as mine). On desktop is fine, but on the MB it does become sluggish at high CPU usage, at least compared to Firefox and Brave, which are a bit more responsive in those cases.

I do have a (overused) 2017 MacBook Pro for work and a pretty capable desktop pc.
